Facts of Luna

,

Oh, you don’t know who Luna is? Well, if you wanna be on the literature side, Luna is the goddess of the moon. She’s also called Celeste.

…and Luna is also the name of my cat.

She knows how to pose for the camera

She’s a Domestic Short Hair with a black Tortoiseshell coat. Has a little poor coordination. Sometimes, she doesn’t see where she’s running to.

Luna loves playing hide and seek and tag. We–my husband and I–got her stuffed toys and so many other toys but her favourite is her little blue bear she got when she was only 4 weeks old. She’s now three years old and still brings her stuffed bear wherever she goes–its head is just a little unattached to its body. I’ve already sewn it twice before.

Deciding on her name was a little funny and deliberate. We wanted to count our children and she was our first, so she was supposed to be “Uno”, but since she’s a girl, we decided “Una” would do. However, “Una” didn’t really fit her… So we just added the L in front. 🤷🏻‍♀️

As time days went by, Luna fit her well more. She had this cream crescent around her eyes that started along her nose up to her head, sourounding only her eye–like a crescent moon.

She’s a bit of a diva too. She doesn’t like to be touched (by me especially) and only prefers her daddy…

I actually have 5 cats in total, 2 lives with me in Qatar while 3 are back home in the Philippines. But that’s a story for another day. 🙂
